Toen Andre Verder in 1959 begon, had hij nooit vermoed wat er van zijn handelsbedrijf voor pompen zou komen. Maar vanaf de eerste dag geloofde hij in innovatie, betrouwbare partnerschappen en het bieden van de beste oplossingen voor de behoeften van zijn klanten. Vandaag de dag is Verder Scientific nog steeds volledig eigendom van en wordt beheerd door de oprichtersfamilie, die producten wereldwijd verkoopt met meer dan duizend werknemers. Bovendien werken we nog steeds met de traditie van Andre Verder, nl. technische uitmuntendheid, innovatieve oplossingen en het vinden van nieuwe manieren om problemen op te lossen, maar ook anticiperend op de problemen van de toekomst.
1959
De jonge Nederlandse handelsondernemer André Verder begint met het verhandelen van pompen en half-afgewerkte kunststofproducten. André breid zijn activiteiten voortduren uit door overnames en het opzetten van nieuwe leden van de VERDER "familie van bedrijven".
1989
RETSCH — een gerenomeerd fabrikant van laboratoriummolens en zeefmachines — wordt onderdeel van de VERDER familie, waarmee de activiteiten worden uitgebreid naar wetenschappelijke appaatuur. De eerste hoeksteen van VERDER SCIENTIFIC is gelegd.
1998
RETSCH TECHNOLOGY wordt opgericht. Met haar innovatieve technologie gebaseerd op Dynamische Beeld Analyse ontwikkelt het nieuwe lid van de VERDER SCIENTIFIC Divisie snel tot één van de wereldvermaarde aanbieders van optische deeltjes-grootte analysers. De focus van de VERDER SCIENTIFIC productie bedrijven wordt gelegd op het ontwikkelen van nieuwe producten en de verbetering van bestaande productlijnen..
2000
Start of establishing worldwide subsidiaries.
2010
Continuous strategic expansion due to aquisitions starting with Endecotts.
2011
Omwille van de voortdurende groei van VERDER SCIENTIFIC wordt een nieuwe en ruimere standplaats gebouwd voor klanten-advies, onderzoek & ontwikkeling, productie, administratie en logistiek gebouwd in Haan nabij Düsseldorf (Duitsland).
2012
ELTRA en CARBOLITE worden aan de divisie toegevoegd. Hun aanbod aan element-analysers, ovens en moffelovens vormen de perfecte aanvulling op het laboratorium en analyse pakket.
2013
GERO komt bij VERDER SCIENTIFIC. Hun producten breiden het bestaande oven-aanbod van CARBOLITE verder uit in het temperatuursbereik tot 3000°C, maar ook voor toepassingen onder vacuüm, inerte of reactieve atmosferen.
2015
Met de verwerving van ATM met 150 medewerkers breidt de VERDER groep het aanbod van haar Scientific Divisie uit op het gebied van monstervoorbereiding voor vaste stoffen.
2018
QNESS wordt onderdeel van de VERDER Groep, waardoor twee leiders in metallografie en hardheidstesters (ATM en QNESS) worden verenigd onder de hoede van VERDER SCIENTIFIC.
2019
Microtrac en MicrotracBEL worden onderdeel van Verder Scientific.
Verder Scientific breidt haar productenportefeuille uit met een gamma aan deeltjes-karakterisering door middel van laserdiffractie, lichtverstrooiing en adsorptie-technologie.
2020
RETSCH Technology, Microtrac en MicrotracBel gaan samen verder als één bedrijf voor deeltjes karakerisatie: MICROTRAC MRB.
Qness en ATM - Specialisten voor hardheidstesten en materialografie worden QATM.
2023
ERWEKA, a leading international manufacturer of testing equipment for the pharmaceutical industry, has long been recognized for its innovation and quality. With a legacy of excellence spanning decades, the company has now entered a new chapter as it becomes part of Verder Scientific, laying a strong foundation for the next 70 years of growth and advancement.
2023
Einführung des Shelf-Life Simulators, des ersten Online-Tools zur Simulation der Haltbarkeit einer Formulierung auf der Grundlage ihrer physikalischen Parameter. Formulaction wird von Verder Scientific übernommen und schließt sich Microtrac an, wodurch Microtrac Formulaction SAS entsteht. Microtracs umfangreiches Portfolio für die Charakterisierung von Partikelsystemen wird um die Expertise im Bereich Stabilität und Dispergierbarkeit erweitert.
